Alpine is a great jumping off point for water activities on the Palisades Reservoir. The reservoir sits at the end of the Snake River Canyon, surrounded by over 70 miles of shoreline. Alpine Adventure Rentals is proud to carry Personal Watercraft, Pontoon Boats and Surf Boats. The most convenient boat launch is located right in the town of Alpine, a quick two or three minutes from our shop. Trailers are included with all boat and watercraft rentals as well as life jackets. Additional items such as water skis, wake-boards, knee boards, surf boards and tubes can be added to your rental. How do Boat and Watercraft Rentals Work out of Alpine?
Our Alpine office is located just 30 miles south of Jackson Hole, Wyoming and provides direct access to the Palisades Reservoir. Our Boat & Watercraft rentals can be delivered to the waterfront ready for your family and friends to enjoy or loaded on a trailer ready to tow to your preferred boating destination. With full and half day options, safety gear, ski/surf/wake board equipment, and plenty of boating accessories we have everything you need to enjoy a day on the water. What security deposit is required to rent boats and watercraft?
Our boats require a security deposit hold/authorization on your credit card of choice in accordance with your damage waiver option. If you choose the damage waiver for $55 per day (Pontoon) or $75 per day (Surf Boat) you limit your liability to the $2,000 in parts and labor, plus potential loss of use and recovery charges. If you do not choose the optional damage waiver the credit card security deposit will be $5,000.00.
For personal watercraft (Sea Doo’s) the optional damage waiver to limit your liability on the watercraft is $35/day with a $1000 deductible.
What are the age requirements for boat and watercraft rentals ?
Boats- 21+ to rent
Personal Watercraft- 21+ to rent
Under 18 can drive personal watercraft if tethered to an adult.
No age restrictions for passengers on boats.
What equipment is included in the watercraft rental?
Full safety equipment is on board each boat and watercraft. Life-jackets are included in the rental price and are required for all guests on the boats and watercraft in sizes from Infant to 3XL

Do you Allow Multi-Day Rentals?
We do allow multiple day rentals, with a 10% discount for rentals 3 days or longer. Please call our office with any questions or to book.
Half Day vs. Full Day Rental Questions
Morning 1/2 Day 8:30am-1:00pm
Afternoon 1/2 day 2:00pm-6:00pm
Full Day Rental – 9:30am-5:30pm (Surf boat is rented full day only)
Pontoons are full day only on weekends & holidays
What about fuel? Delivery? Insurance?
All of our equipment loaded on a trailer leaves full of fuel and will need to be returned full of fuel.
If your watercraft was delivered to the waterfront in Alpine fuel will be charged at the end of the rental at $8 a gallon.

How much do the Boats Weigh for towing? Hitch Size?
Single Sea Doo and Trailer – 1,600 lbs.
Two Sea Doos and Trailer – 2,200 lbs.
22′ Axis Wake and Trailer – 7000 lbs.
21′ Pontoon and Trailer – 3,300 lbs.
2″ ball on all watercraft and boat trailers
What is the weight capacity of each boat?
Our 22′ Pontoon has a limit of 10 people, or 1,354 lbs, whichever is less.
Our Axis 22 has a limit of 14 people or 2,100 lbs, whichever is less.
Overloading a boat is dangerous and can be deadly. Please reach out to us with any questions.
Weather Policy
No refunds due to weather, but in the case of inclement weather a raincheck can be issued. Rainchecks are good for one year from the date of rental on any of our equipment rentals.
Pet and Fishing Gear Policy
No pets or fishing gear are allowed on our Wake Surf boat. Pets and fishing gear are allowed on our Pontoon boats, but the customer is responsible for any damage caused by pets or fishing gear.
Can I rent boats for Jackson Lake instead of Alpine, Wyoming?
If you would prefer to take a boat to Jackson Lake, located north of Jackson Hole, you are more than welcome to. Our boats are located in Alpine, Wyoming, loaded on a trailer and ready to tow. If you do plan on going to Jackson Lake, we suggest a multiple day rental. The tow from Alpine to Jackson Lake is over 2 hours one way. The rental hours at our Alpine office are from 9:30am-5:30pm and the boat must be picked up and returned to the Alpine location. Separate permits are required for Jackson Lake, and would be the customers responsibility to acquire. We do not offer half day rentals for Jackson Lake.
Personal watercraft (Sea Doos) are not allowed on Jackson Lake.
No recovery options are available at Jackson Lake.

With room for up to 14 people (not to exceed 2100 lbs) this boat features wake surf technology and the best wave in the industry, allowing you to fully customize your wakes and waves every time. Bluetooth Audio with tower speakers.
Available for full day rentals only including delivery to the Blowout Boat Ramp 12 miles North of Alpine and Calamity Boat Ramp 45 minutes from Alpine . Fuel charged upon return at $8/gallon. Surf boards & water toys $60 each.

2022 Sea Doo Cruise Switch 9 Person Pontoon Boat
Our 21′ Sea Doo Cruise Switch Pontoon Boats with 170HP engines are available for full and half day rentals. Pontoons can accommodate up to 9 people, but no more than 1,485 lbs. Boat Trailers are included with each rental. Boats can be towed to Palisades Reservoir, utilizing any of the local boat launches. Lifejackets included; tubes available for an additional charge. Alpine Adventure Rentals has new model year Personal Watercraft, to accommodate up to 3 people (no more than 600 lbs total). Watercraft can be towed to Palisades Reservoir, utilizing any of the local boat launches. Life jackets included with your rental and required for all riders. Full Day rentals 9:30 am to 5:30 pm Half Day Rentals 8:30 am to 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
1-2 Sea doo’s will fit on 1 trailer. If you have 3+ Sea doo’s rented, you will need more than one vehicle to tow.

Lake Guide – Find your Own Adventure!
Palisades Reservoir – Alpine, Wyoming.
Palisades Reservoir is in a scenic valley with forested hillsides rising from the water to the towering snow capped mountains which form the background. Located 30 miles south of Jackson, Wyoming our Alpine location is ideal for watercraft rentals. The reservoir has about 70 miles of beatiful, peaceful shoreline. The closest boat ramp to our Alpine location would be 1 mile from the shop and is ideal for launching our Sea Doos, Bow riders, and Pontoon rental boats. Our wake surf boats will be launched from the Blowout Boat Ramp 12 miles North of Alpine. With multiple floating docks available don’t forget to pack a picnic lunch and enjoy your watercraft rental experience.
Jackson Lake – Moran, Wyoming.
The best way to experience the Jackson lake area would be a multiple day rental as all watercraft equipment must be picked up at our Alpine location and returned to our Alpine location. From our Alpine location you would need to tow 78 miles north through the town of Jackson to launch at either Colter Bay or Signal Mountain for up-close views of the spectacular Tetons rising magically right out of Jackson Lake. No personal watercraft (Sea Doos) are allowed on Jackson Lake. No recovery services are available on Jackson lake as you are outside of our recovery area. Please check with Jackson Lake boat launches regarding water conditions and ramp options.
